About our program:

Duration: 5 weeks
Mode of delivery: Live and interactive online class through a video-conferencing platform. You will be able to interact with our instructor, and with each other. This will allow us to answer any questions that come up on the spot.
Day of class: Every Sunday, starting July 19, 2020. (July 19, 26, and August 2, 9 and 16)
Time: 7:30 pm.
Duration: 90 minutes each
Recordings: Will be made available after the class. You will have access to the recordings for a period of 3 months.

Your Instructor


Karthik Palaniappan
Karthik Palaniappan

Karthik is the founder and chief coach at August Academy. He has a B. Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Madras and a Ph. D. in Aerospace Engineering from Stanford University. Karthik scored a 770 on the GMAT recently (99 percentile). He was recently selected to attend the Sloan Fellows program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

In his previous lives, he’s worked on projects for the US Department of Defense, Air Force and NASA on topics as varied as missile control, air traffic management and aircraft survivability. He’s developed cloud based software for identifying energy efficient cooling techniques for data centers. He’s also worked with the world’s largest automaker (General Motors) to improve the design of its vehicles. While he was at GM, he received several awards for outstanding research collaboration.

He is passionate about using Technology to make our lives better. He is also a self professed Math Geek with a new found love for big data.

Fee Structure:

Our regular consulting packages range from Rs. 50,000 + GST (for the ISB Package) to about Rs. 2,20,000 + GST (for our comprehensive counseling package). These are packages where we work with you on a one-to-one basis, so that you can craft the best possible application.
The current package includes a lot of the advice and suggestions that we would offer in our more expensive counseling packages.
But, to reach out to the widest possible audience, we will be pricing it this year at a fee of Rs. 29,999 (inc. GST).


Additional points to note:
* Access to this course will be free for students who have signed up for any of our comprehensive counseling packages.

* We will offer easy upgrade options through which you can upgrade to a comprehensive counseling package through the middle of this course. (We are working on the details of this at this point.)
